First Christian Church of Winter Park Children's Ministry exists to help parents build a spiritual foundation in their children for a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ. On Sunday mornings we offer classes for children. The scriptures are very clear about that bibliclly sound education should begin at an early age with our children. One thing we try to accomplish at First Christian Church is a diligent and deliberate approach to Christian education.In Deuteronomy 6:6-9 Moses reminds the people of Israel to teach the words of the Lord and began with the children in the home.He says in verse 7,"talk of them when you sit in your house,when you walk by the way,when you lie down, and when you rise up."
This cannont be done when children are not exposed to good Bible-based teaching in the home and in the church. Our goal is to make absolutely sure that each child's class as competent teachers who love the Lord and are willing and able to impart His word to them.
