Jim Book - Minister
In 1994 Jim began serving as the Senior Minister of First Christian Church of Winter Park. He has enjoyed his 12 years of ministry at Winter Park. His ministry goal is to see this community touched for Christ through inspirational services each Lord's Day, youth education programs, college programs, and Alpha Christian Academy.
Jim's desire is to model Christ in his family life, his personal life, and his ministry, so people will be motivated to live out their faith in Christ every day. He and his wife, Jeanette, have three beautiful girls, Emilee, Macy, and Mand.
David Fitzgerald - Youth Minister
Raised in a Christian home, David has always known there is no life outside of serving Christ. He graduated from Florida Christian College, majoring in Biblical Teaching. In his final year at FCC, he was compelled by Christ to join Him at First Christian Church of Winter Park.
What began as an internship quickly developed into employment as Youth Minister. He directs the Children's and Youth Ministries. He will continue to serve the Lord in all possible capacities..."You have persevered and have endured hardships for My (Christ's) name, and have not grown weary." (Revelations 2:3)
Andrew Adames - Young Adult Minister
For Andrew it has been an amazing adventure thus far. He came to know the Lord in March of 2003 and immediately accepted his calling into ministry. He began his studies at Florida Christian College in the fall of 2003 and just recently graduated with his B.A. in Preaching. Andrew's plans were changed in the spring of his senior year when the Lord called him to serve at Winter Park."At first I just wanted to play the guitar in the praise band, but then that turned into something far more amazing then I ever could have imagined."
Andrew became the Young Adult Minister in the summer of 2008 and has big plans for this ministry. "Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory." (Colossians 3:5) (Revelations 2:3)
