History
In September of 1957 an organizational meeting was held on Winter Park Avenue with 15 people present. They all met with one purpose in mind and that was to begin a Christian Church in Winter Park.The very first service was held on October 6, 1957, with 36 people becoming members. Ground breaking services were held on May 31, 1959, and the educational building was ready for services.
We are presently a church with a membership of just around 400 people.In 2003 we purchased our ministry center building which houses our Christian School, our youth programs, Sunday School classes and Choir room. We support numerous missions work, both foreign and domestic. Our greatest evengelistic mission and outreach is our very own Alpha Christian Academy. We are able to teach and spiritually direct many students each and everyday.
This congregation is also involved with college ministries throughout central Florida, including Florida Christian College, University of Central Florida, and Full Sail. We are blessed with a staff of committed Ministers whose desire is to help the membership grow in spiritual matuirty and devotion to God's Will. From our children and youth programs to our senior adult ministry, God is doing great things in His church at Winter Park, Florida.
